Black Male - Aqua
 |
"I have a home!"
Born the smallest of the boys - he is growing very well
and certainly holds his own among the crowd! He is very
adventurous and didn't waste time exploring once we put the pups into
the kitchen for the first time. He does like to snuggle up, and
it's amazing how he'll lock his gaze onto you until you notice him and
give him lovin'. He is a little love bug and just loves to be
right in the middle of the action!Aqua has an adorable little patch/strip of white on
the crest of his chest. We consider it to be just another small
addition to his special character!

Black Male - Navy
 |
"I have a home!"
As of week 3, Navy was the biggest of the pack, but he
has since been passed up by Orange. He likes to be very vocal and
was one of the first to show of his "beginner barks". He is
usually one of the key instigators of wrestling matches and he seems to
rule the roost (when the others will let him!).
Brown and Navy are currently tied for 2nd place in the weight
division, last weekend they both weighed in at 8 pounds, 11 ounces...
only being beat by Mr. Orange.

Black Male - Brown
 |
"I have a home!"
Brown is a sweetie who kind of flies below the radar.
He seems to keep to himself most of the time but gets in there and plays
when the pace picks up among the crowd. He looks like he may have
one of the blockiest heads among the bunch... he's going to be quite the
looker!

Chocolate Female -
Yellow
 |
"I have
a home!"
Yellow is the one of the two female Chocolates, with slightly lighter
coloring than Lavender. (But not by much!) She has a
beautiful thick coat of fur and we call her "Mellow Yellow", AKA "Lazy
Bones"... because following play time she used to be the first one
to pick a spot to crash. She watches from the sidelines for a few
final minutes and then just drifts off to her happy sleep.
In this photo from the first week in July, she snuggled up with the
"flying squirrel" toy. She's no longer the first to crash, but all of
the puppies' energy levels have grown slightly over the past few weeks
so nap time comes a little less frequent!

Chocolate Female -
Lavender
 |
"I have a home!"
Lavender is a fairly quiet little pup - she and yellow
are usually found together in a pair. She is also another puppy
that seems to stay very close to where ever the visitors are. She
particularly enjoys playing with the extra big rope bone and when she
gets her mouth on the little stuffed kitty chew toy - she struts around
with very apparent pride!Although she looks dark in this photo, she
is really a fairly light chocolate color, similar to Yellow's coloring!

Chocolate Male -
Orange
 |
"I have a home!"
So far, Orange is the loud one of the bunch. He's
always howling and making us laugh with his spunky attitude. When
we began taking pictures, he was always doing funny things with his
tongue while he slept. He is one of the top 3 pups, weight-wise,
but the difference between him and the others isn't much! (Photo

Chocolate Male -
Dk. Green
 |
"I have a home!"
Our first puppy born... Green was born the biggest of them all,
but now the others have all caught up many have even passed him up! He seems to be quite the snuggler as he tends to fall asleep in the arms of who ever holds him.
Just content to be around people... he also looks to have a very strong
blocky head. (Photo from week 5)

Black Female - Red
 |
"I have a home!"
Our first black girl, she was born the smallest of the
litter. She is such a cutie pie and is growing like a little weed,
no longer the smallest at all. She is very social and is usually
the first one to come running when we clap our hands. Sometimes we
call her "Mo" since the fur up the bridge of her nose seems to come to a
little peak... like a mini mowhawk.

Black Female - Pink
 |
"I have a home!"
Pink is an adorable cutie, and funny enough has a small small
strip of white hairs down the crest of her chest (just like the first
black female we dubbed "Pink" several years ago!)
She is very playful and particularly loves to chew on toes.

Black Female -
MINT
 |
"I have a home!"
As of week 5, Mint is the smallest of the group, however all of
their weights tend to fluctuate as they grow. She usually pounces
around and enjoys finding some of the tightest spots to curl up and nap.
